TradeSoft, Inc, located in Atlanta, Georgia, was founded in 1994 with a single mission: Provide a truly customizable estimating and job management software solution that addresses the demanding needs of the custom, quote-driven manufacturer and job shop.

Custom job shops trying to automate their estimating have few choices. They can build a spreadsheet or try to develop a database application in house, but few have the time or expertise to build a comprehensive system. Our initial market - secondary wood products manufacturers - remains our largest group of installed users. However, we also sell to all sorts of job shops that work with metal, glass, paper, and electronics as well as machine shops and sub-contractors.

New products:

In response to customer requests, we have added new products to work in harmony with ProjectPAK:

• We introduced ShopPAK, an integrated shop management and control system, to address the management, shop control, job tracking, and job costing needs of our customers. It is seamlessly integrated with ProjectPAK and delivers powerful job costing, tracking, purchasing, inventory, shop floor data collection, shipping and receiving.
• We then answered our customers’ toughest problem: effective multi-job scheduling. Leveraging the information gathered and organized by ProjectPAK and ShopPAK, our Scheduler has the right balance of speed, power and ease-of-use.
• We now also provide a powerful residential and commercial Pre-built Casework Database to simplify and speed ProjectPAK implementation. It contains hundreds of pre-built, parametric cabinet and cabinet components configured to use different materials and construction techniques depending on the job being bid.
• To help customers leverage their investment in accounting and CAD/CAM engineering software we have built ShopPAK links to many leading packages. These links help complete the loop, giving you a lean and seamless front office.
