Work orders travel with job drawings and provide the communication mechanism between the front office and the shop floor for capturing actuals. They not only summarize what the job entails, they optionally specify detailed departmental estimates, labor routings, and necessary materials. Work orders can be bar coded to speed data collection and accuracy.

If you prefer, you can use ShopPAK's PO Builder form to analyze material requirements across all jobs and simply drag and drop materials on to the purchase order form. Last, you can create a purchase order for a vendor by identifying the items you wish to include on a purchase order. Regardless of how you create a purchase order, ShopPAK gives you a seamless and integrated solution, automatically creating the necessary links between purchasing, job costing, inventory, and receiving.
